Monette-Horwitz Trust Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee is composed of representatives of literary, scholarly, archival, artistic and activist pursuits. They come from within the LGBTQ2+ and HIV communities and beyond. The volunteer Committee is responsible for annual research and recommendation of honorees to the Trustee in order to fulfill the mission of the Monette-Horwitz Trust.

  • Ruth Ann Anderson is an artist and a lecturer for CSU-Northridge. She also serves on the board of The Woman’s Building in Los Angeles.
  • Emma Gometz (they/she) is a writer, artist, and journalist based in NYC. Their professional focus is on making science communication more accessible to the general public.
  • Brenda Monette, widow of Paul’s brother Robert, is the Trustee of the Monette-Horwitz Trust.
  • Isabel O’Brien is a London-based freelance journalist and graduate of Columbia University and Sciences Po Paris. She is co-founder and president of the Association of Women in Business Journalism.
  • Janos Tedeschi is a Swiss filmmaker, biographer, and artistic researcher.
  • Winston Wilde is the surviving husband of Paul Monette.
