Prumsodon Ok
Champion of Khmer culture, his work as an artist, teacher, and writer.
Prumsodon Ok
Born to Khmer (Cambodian) refugees in Los Angeles, Ok rose from the poverty and violence-stricken inner city to become the new face of Khmer dance. While the Khmer Rouge was executing artists and attempting to exterminate culture in Cambodia, Ok was studying Khmer traditional dance as a child in exile. He has since ventured to visit Cambodia where he founded its first all gay male dance company. He uses art to heal, illuminate, and empower, reviving the spirit of his people from the enduring forces of conflict. Seen by many as a champion of Khmer culture, his work as an artist, teacher, and writer helps to shape a world encouraging everyone to blossom into their fullest selves. https://www.prumsodun.com/

Brandon is co-founder and Vice President of The Dru Project, a nonprofit organization that works to empower youth and enable future leaders in the LGBTQ community. In 2018, he joined Parkland students in demanding change in Tallahassee and Washington, DC, and is a national advocate for common sense gun safety reform and LGBTQ civil rights.
